Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which CPR Class Do I Need?
A: The type of CPR course you need depends on the type of job you have
or why you are taking a class. All healthcare providers need the
American Heart Associations Healthcare Provider course. A Healthcare
provider is someone who is (or is taking classes for) a medical
professional. This includes nurses, doctors, dentists, hygienists, EMTs,
paramedics, physical therapists, etc. Most CNAs are required to have the
Healthcare Provider card. Check with your employer or teacher if you are
not sure.
If you are a childcare worker, daycare owner or foster parent, you need to take the Pediatric First Aid course.
